[Reuter's Telegrams.) LONDON. December 29. During a heavy gale, a portion of the Tay Bridge was destroyed, and a train proceeding from Edinburgh to Dundee, while crossing shortly afterwards, fell through the casing of the bridge into the river. Enormous loss of life ensued, although the exact particulars are not yet to hand. It is feared two hundred persons were drowned. The Empress Eugenie pioceeds to Zululahd in February.
