Maiden Plate of 40 soys ; U miles ; weight for agefor horses that have never won an advertised race of the amount of 20 sovs at the time of entry ; a winner of any such race after the time of entry to carry a penalty of Tibs ; of two or more such races, lOlbs ; entrance, 3 sovs. To start at 12.30 p.m. 4. Waverley-Waitotara Cup of 40 sovs ; two miles ; weight for age ; entrance, 3 sovs. To start at 1.30 p.m. 5. Flying Handicap of 30 sovs; 3 0 f a mile ; nomination, 1 sov. acceptance, 2 sovs. To start at 2.30 p.m. G. Waverley-Waitotara Handicap of 100 sovs ; 2£ miles ; second horse to receive 15 sovs from the stakes ; nomination, 2 sovs, acceptance, 4 sovs. To start at 3.30. 7. Consolation Race of 15 sovs ; Handicap ; once round the course ; entrance, 1 suv. To start at 4.30 p.m. Weights to he declared on the 12th November, acceptances and general entries on the 20th November. Qualification fee for Nun-members, .31 Is. RULES. No entry will be received for any races except, upon this condition—that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All entries to be sealed, arid addressed to the Hon Secretary, Wnverley, entrance money enclosed, witn the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and -in case of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of the owner, aiid colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered, will be lined 3 sovs. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn. In all weight-for-age races, the weigh t.-for-age scale of the Wanganui Jockey Club rules will be adhered toi All personsintending to withdraw horses, are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, or C!ei4;,of the Seales, one half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this .mle, shall pay a fine of 5 sovs to the race fund. All races to be under the W.J.C. Rules. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes.
