WHELAN RESP ECTF UL LY informs his friends and the public generally, that having in view the mutual benefit of buyer ;uul seller, ho has decided to make important alterations in his system of Business; ami while returning hearty thanks for past custom, lie trusts that the new arrangements will meet with general approval. 'On and after Saturday, November Ist ensuing, all running accounts will bo closed, and from that dale the system will be strictly for Cash or Monthly Accounts. These accounts will be balanced at the end of each month, settlements of same not later than 4th of the following month. In the meantime all accounts rendered no to 30ih {September last, are expected to be settled not later than the 31st of the present month. Under the new arrangement, J. Whelan will make it his earnest aim to sell at the lowest possible prices, and ho believes he will be able to do so—then the benefits wiii not bo one-sided. The advantages of the Cash system must be so apparent to all, that it is simply snpcrfldus to enlarge upon it. J. W. therefore leaves the scheme to the approval of his friends and the public, believing that with their support it will prove a success. Buy and sell for Cash, and moir y will be saved.
