A leaping match will take place at 3.30 p.m. ; entrance fee, 10s. Three trials allowed at each rise of the bar. Baulks to count as trials. Entries for this event can be made with the Secretary on the ground, up to hour of commencement on the day of the show. SPECIAL PIUZES. Sir D. Ballam, Wavcriey, offers a prize of a piece of plate, value live guineas, for the best colt or filly, two-year-old or under, by Gladiator. PULES AND PECULATIONS. 1. Members of the Association can exhibit on paying the following fees : Horses ; Entires, 10s; other classes, ss. [ Cattle : Bulls, ss; other classes, 2s 6d. 1 Single sheep, 2s fid; pen of three, ss. \ Pigs, 2s 6d ; poultry, dogs, and produce, Is ; implements, 2s fid. Non-members to pay double fees in every case. 2. All stock exhibited must be the lona Jide property of the exhibitor, or his principal, 3. The names, residences, and districts of the exhibitor and breeder, the breed of the animal he intends to exhibit, the pedigree of the slock as far as known—of sheep, the time of shearing—young horses and-cattle, the date of birth—must be given to tbe Secretary with entries. -1. In cattle, class A, the ages will date from Xst August, in each year. 5. No competitor will be allowed to exhibit more than one lot in produce class. 5. Stock that cannot be shown in a competing.class can be exhibited as extra stock, ’and ;if deemed worthy of a prize by tbe jvulgeq, one will be awarded. | 17.. iln.no case shall a prize be adjudged itjuless the judges shall deem the lot to possess sufficient merit, more especially' if only one .lot is exhibited. 8. All exhibits for competition must be •on the Show Ground us follows :—Sheep and pigs, .before .8 a.m.cattle, 9 a.m. ; .horses,'.dairy produce, poultry, dogs, implements, 10 a.m. sharp of the Show day. Judging to commence at 10 a.m. 9. The Committee will not, under any circumstances, hold themselves responsible for loss, damage, or mis-delivery of stock, pyodacc, or implements exhibited at tbe Show. 10. All protests must bo in writing, and loft with the Secretary before 4 o’clock on ■the day of the Show. The decision of tbe Managing Committee to be final. 11. No stock, produce, or implements exhibited to be .removed from the ground until after 4 o’clock on the day of the Show, without a special order from the Secretary. 12. A.IJ horses and’bulls must be led. ■ENTRIES. Entries for the Show will be received by the Secretary, through the Post, at any time up to Wednesday, 19th November, such entries to be accompanied by the en-trance-fees. Entries of stock must state ,the.name, sex, and age of the animal intended to be exhibited, and the class and section in which ii-is to compete. Entries will also -bo received by the Secretary at .the Office of the Association, Carlyle, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 17th, 1 Sth, and 19th November, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., after which-no entries will on any account be received, except where otherwise stated -in the foregoing programme. N.B. —The supporters of this Association arc reminded that their annual subscriptions are now due, and they are respectfully requested to pay the same to the Hon. Treasurer, Mr J. Gibson, Carlyle. Exhibitors being members, and claiming privileges as such, must pay their subscriptions (together with entrance fees) on making their entries, if not previously paid. Admission —Tothegeneral public, before 12 o’clock, 2s fid ; after that time, Is. Children, half-price. Members of the Association, exhibitors and their servants, will be admitted free on production of their Members’ Ticket or Card of admission, which will be given to exhibitors by the Secretary.
