Qualification fee for Non-members, £1 Is. RULES. No entry will be received for any racer, cxcepc upon this condition—that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall he final. .All entries to be sealed, and addressed to the Hon Secretary, Waverley, entrance money enclosed, witn the name, age at time- of entry, pedigree, and in case of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered, will be fined 3 sovs. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn. In all weigbt-for-nge races, the weigbt-for-age scale of the Wanganui Jockey Club rules will be adhered to. All personsintending to withdraw horses, are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, or Clerk of the Scales, one half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this aule, shall pay a fine of 5 sovs to the race fund. All races to bo under the W.J.C. Rules. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes.
