Nominations for Handicap Hurdles, Flying Handicap, and Waverley-Wailotara Handicap, to be in the bands of the Secretary before 8 pan. on the 20th October ; weights to be declared on the 12tb November, acceptances and general entries on the 20th November. Qualification fee for Non-incmbcrs, £1 Is. RULES. No entry will be received for any races except upon this condition—that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall bo decided by a .majority of tlio Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All entries to bo sealed, and addressed to the lion Secretary, Wavcrley, entrance money enclosed, witn the name, age at lime of entry, pedigree, and in case of handicaps, performances of the horse, Dame of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered, will be fined 3 sovs. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn. In all weight,-for-age races, the weight-for-ago scale of tlio Wanganui Jockey Club rules will be adhered to. All personsintending to withdraw horses, are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, or Clerk of the Scales, one half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this .mlc, shall pay a fine of 5 sovs to the race fund, All entries should he made on the Club’s printed forms of entry, which may be obtained at the office of the Hon Secretary.
