(Per Press Agency.) W WELLINGTON. 4 . September 23. erection of ft new powder magazine at Kaiwara will be commenced in a few days. Parliament will be opened by Commission at 2 o’clock to-morrow. It is understood, that the Triennial Parliament Bill is not to come into operation till the expiration of the present Parliament. GISBORNE. September 23. Five natives have been arrested and committed for trial at the Supreme Court, Wellington, for forcibly intruding upon a settlers land in this district. GRAHAMSTOWN. Soptember23. Disaffected tribes are erecting two large pahs —one three or four hundred yards from their settlement on Waihou River, and the other on branch of Piako River, about three miles from Okatukura.
