Maidkn Plate of 40 sovs; 14 miles; weight' for age; for horses that have never won an advertised race of the amount of 20 sovs at the time of entry ; a winner of any such race after the time of entry to cany a penalty of 7ibs ; of two or more such races, lOlbs ; entrance, 3 sovs. To start at 12.30 p.m. 4. No entry will be received for any races except upon this condition—that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be iinal. All entries to bo sealed, and addressed to the Hon Secretary, Waverley, entrance money enclosed, with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and in case of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding - except in the colours entered, will be lined .3 sovs. When two or more horses start, the property 7 of the same owner, a distinguishing co our must bo worn. In all weigbt-for-ago races, flic weight-for-age scale of the Wanganui Jockey Club rules will be adhered to. Allpcrsonsintending to withdraw horses, arc required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary 7, or Clerk of the Scales, one half-hour before starting. Any 7 person neglecting or refusing to comply with this .mle, shall pay 7 a fine of 5 sovs to the race fund. All entries should be made on the Club’s printed forms of entry, which may ho obtained at the office of the Hon Secretary. All races to be under the W.J.C. Rules.
