Af the meeting of the sapporters of Messrs Bryce and Ballance at the Town Hall last night, it was carried unanimously, “ That this meeting expresses its full confidence in Messrs Brjce and Ballance as members to represent the Wanganui district in case of a general election, and pledge themselves to sup-, port them,”
~The, following gentlemen were appointed a committee-for the purpose of seeming the return of Messrs Bryce find Ballanco :—Messrs J. 13. t : - v ', D. Ballam. G. New! '.i-l. t. - :,, H. F. Mason, T. K nm {y, J, i. -i sum, T. Caldwell, W. Overend, W. Winehcomb, J. Woolstou, F. thymes, vy. Symes, R. Bremer, T. Rea i, W. Swiubourn, P. T. Fortescne, M. W. \V yeburn, M. McLean W. Newlaud, J.Aiken, and D. Williams. Resolved, That the Committee meet on Wednesday next, at 7.80 pan, at he Commercial Hotel.
