Sir, —Can you, or any o! your ivuul.ts, inform mo whether the roward of £. 1,000 that was offered for (he carcase of Tito Ivowurn, dead or alive, in 18(18, ln;s been cancelled by Act of Parliament ? lam aware that it was repealed hy advertisements in the newspapers, but is that sufficient to guarantee a pardon to anyone who has once been outlawed by Act of Parliament ? If not, would anyone be justified in still trying to gain the reward by complying with the terms o fie red ? There are plenty of good men who would soon draw on the exchequer of the colony if the repeal has not legally been proclaimed. The reason I wish the above information is—l have never seen it gazetted, nor has anyone been able to inform nun—l am, &c., INQUIRE 11. Ilawera, August sth, 1871).
