MR FEEMAN R. JACKSON’S FORTNIGHTLY STOCK REPORT. Wanganui. July 16. Mr yards to-day were fairly filled with stock, which was of only medium quality. Prices ruled an out the same as at the previous sale, excent in sheep. This description of stock was fullv 6d to U per head in advance. Beef was very inferior, some of the pens being sold to the ‘waxier. Not so many horse;- came foiward, "he bidding was dull, a number being passed in unsold. ... . Cattle— ls7 head were yarded. Bullocks, £3 os to £2 os ; forward store bullocks, £7 los ; cows. £1 15s; milch cows, £4 10 s to £7 12s 6d ; yearling;, £H ss; calves. £2 7s 6d. Sheen—7o9 were penned. Fat ewes, 7s Cd to ; store ewe?, 5a 3d to 5s 9d ; Lambs, 3s 3d to 3c 3d. Horses—Hacks, £5 to £l2 ; draught, £2O t0 Pigs—Stores. 6s 6d to 8s ; fat pigs, £1 3s to £2 i i. according to quality. - Oats— Feed oats', 2-* 8d to 3s per bushel. I 'o-d 200 sacks at these prices.
