[Reuter’s Telegrams.] MELBOURNE. July 17. Negotiations are proceeding for the amalgamation of Commercial Bank with Australian-European, transferring business of lattter to the former. SYDNEY. July 17. Interest on new loan is fixed at 4 per cent. The Commercial Banking Company of Sydney have declared a dividend of 25 per cent., and increased their capital to £600,000.
