£lO REWARD—OR FREE PARDON.
[advertisement.] ANONYMOUS LETTER.
WHEREAS I have received an anonymous Letter reiterating the falsehoods spoken by Father Ryan to his congregation on the 4th May last, in the Catholic Church, Hawera, viz—“ That I was chased from the South; that I collected money to purchase Church Property—and it was a profitable business ; that ho hoped the people would know me by the name of Moody in future, &c.” The writer states all this in his letter, which shows that Father Ryan’s Holy Preaching has taken root, and is likely to bear good fruit. The above Reward will bo paid to any person that will identify the writer, on the case being decided before a Court of Justice ; or a free pardon will be given to the “ actual” writer if ho will acknowledge the letter, and volunteer to give evidence in the case pending—Quin v Ryan—in Supremo Court. CHARLES QUIN, Normanby. 24th June, 1879. 695tc
