[Reuter’s Telegrams.] LONDON. June 11. Colonel Biddulph has been appointed High Commissioner at Cyprus. Consols, 96; New Zealand five per cent., 103. MELBOURNE. June 12. The following is a summary of Mail news#, to May 9th : • Yakoob Khan was received with much ceremony at the British camp at Gandainak. A great military demonstration took place, and Yakoob Khan was much impressed with the sight. It ia feared that the extreme measures to suppress Nihilism will provoke a revolutionary outbreak in Russia. In Canada there is a political crisis, con* sequent on Marquis of Lome refusing to-y dismiss Governorof Quebec, as recommen--ded by ministers.
