CARLYLE TOWN BOARD ELECTION.
The nomination of members to the above Board, on Saturday* last, closed with the required number, viz : William Aitcihson, nominated by Messrs Hirst and Taplin. Robert Albert Adams, nominated by Messrs Dale and O’Sullivan. William Howitt, nominated by Messrs Taplin and Christie. John Milroy, nominated by Messrs W. Cowern and Rhodes. The Returning Officer therefore declared the above gentlemen duly elected.
