CABLE MESSAGES.
[Reoteii’s Telegrams.] LONDON. April 6. News from Capetown, dated March 18th, is as follows :—Oham, Cetewayo’s brother, is supposed to be an aspirant to the throne. Obam’s son and 390 Zulus have surrendered unconditionally. No important movement has been made. Colonel Law is in command of force for relict’ of Eliou-e. A largo number of Zulus surround Ekowe. The garrison is well, but short of provisions. The 571h infantry regiment are marching on Zngela. The 9lst and IGih infantry regiments and a British battery have arrived. New Zealand 5 per cent Loan, 102. SYDNFA. April 8. The steamer Alomnnr has arrived at Port Darwin from Hong Kong, with 556 Chinese, including 26 for New Zealand. Another steamer with Chinese is expected at Port Darwin in a few days.
