Establishing a Toll -Crate al Waiiotara. IN pursuance of the power granted under “The.Public W(pks Act, 1870,”. the County Council of Patea have resolved to’,'establish a Toll on 'the North or Putca side of the Waitotara Bridge. -.*Tho'following will bo tho scale of tolls payable, viz. : SECOND SCHEDULE. 1 s. d. 1. Provided that not more than one toll shall be taken on any vehicle or horse passing or returning nu the same day : And provided further that in case of a vehicle without springs having the tires of all its wheels of a breadth of not less than five inches, the wheels being so formedj that a surface of not less than five inches conies in contact with the ground on a firm cart road, the amount of tolls shall be oneball* the rate which would otherwise be charged under this Schedule.
