The steamer Brisbane has arrived at Port Darwin with Chinese, and reports another thousand on their wa3 f . The Assembly passed a Bill imposing a .poll-tax of £lO on Chinese. March 14. Legislative Assembly last night, passed by 41 votes to 2, a farewall address to the Governor, expressing approval of his administration of the Government of New South Wales.
