The following arc quotations of sales Held during past fortnight : Cattle.—At Turakina, 141 head came forward .Steers, £5 10s and £5 15s ; heifers, £5 2s Cd ; cows, £4 15s to £5 ; fat cows, £fi 10 s; dairy cows, £6 7s fid; half-bred bull calves, £To to £l2 10s; full-bred bull calf, £2O. At the yards to-day. 220 were yarded. Fat cows, £G 17s (Id to £7 10s ; bullocks. £8 17s (id to £0 17s (id ; mixed stores, £5 2s fid; yearlings, £3 10s ; imported cattle, cows, 2 at £2O each ; 2 at £l6 each ; others at £9 to £lO ; heifers, £8 10s. Sheep. —At Nukumaru, over 2,000 were sold. Ewes, 6s to (is fid ; hoggets, os 9d ; fat sheep, 9s 3d; old rains. 16s. At Turakina, about 900 were sold. Fat ewes, 7s; lambs of inferior quality, 2s fid. At the yards to-day, 1.250 made up the sale. Ewes, mixed ages. 5s (o 5s 3d ; lambs, 5s ; fat lambs, 7s Gd ; fat ewes, 6s (id to 7s ; wethers, 7s 6d ; inferior sheep. 3s Gd. Horses. —Dull of sale, prices from £lO to £l7 for really good hacks ; inferior, £4 to £7 ; light draughts up to £2O. Exports—loo cattle, 500 sheep.
