In Algebra, 60 marks wore attainable— Kate Williams, 50 ; Thomas G. Hirst, 55 ; Wilfred E. Dasent, 46. In Latin, 100 marks were attainable — Thomas G. Hirst, 26 ; Wilfred E. Dasent, 264. KAKARAMEA SCHOOL. The results oi ! the examination held at tiie Kakaramea School (Mr R. T. Brown, Master), on tiie 13th December, for Scholars’ Certificates, are now to hand, and appear as follows: Highest pass—Ada Hawken, 154£ marks out of a possible 200 ; 2nd highest pass, Alexander Williamson, 140 5-6 marks out a possible 200 ; 3rd, Marjory' Williamson, 100 marks out of a possible 200.- . PROPERTY VALUATIONS, 1879-80. Valuation' Lints are now open for inspection. The following are on view at Carlyle. Carlyle Town—D. M. Harris, Vainer. Tlin Valuation’for 1879 amounts to £4,409. that for last year being £3.143 9s, being an increase for the present }'car of £1,265 11s. Patea East Road District— D. M. Harris, Valuer. Tin valuation for 1870 amounts to .£3.946 9s, that fur last year being £3,931 13s, being, but a billing increase over last V"ar. Patea West Road District—W. Dale, Valuer. The variation for 1379 amounts to £12,142 5s 9 I, that for last year being £7,141 7s 4.1, being bii increase of £4,997 18s sd.
