Horses were in large numbers to-day, but the absence of bonHiem dealers made the demand very dull, and a ■caw sale, with indifferent bidding, was the •result. oat tie. —71 head were yarded. Fat bullocks brought from £lO to £ll 7s fid • stores steers, £7 12s Cd; 2-year-olds, £5 ss; yearlong. £3 10s. Sheep.—4s3 were penned. Wethers Os fid to'Ss 9d ; mixed ewes and wethers, 8s ; store wethers 6s Od to 7s. Horses.—A large number were entered for the day’s sale, but only a few were sold at late quotations. Exports.—Bo head of cattle, and -100 sheep.
