Special Prize. —£5 awarded to the person taking greatest number of Hirst Prizes for Cattle, Sheep, Horses, and Bigs. Special Prize.—£3 for best Colonial-bred Ham and Ewe. Rules and Regulations. 1. Members of the Association can exhibit on paying the following fees : —For horses — entires, 10s ; mares, colts, and geldings. ss. Cattle—bulls, ss; cows and heifers, 2s (id. Single sheep, 2s (id ; pcn.of three, ss. Pigs, 2s (id. Poultry and dairy produce, Is. Agricultural implements, 2s (id. Non-members to pay double fees in every ease. 2. All slock exhibited must bo the ‘bona fide’ property of the exhibitor or his principal. 3. The name, residence, and districts of the exhibitor and breeder, the breed of the animal he intends to exhibit, the pedigree of the s<ock as far as known ; of sheep, the lime of shearing; young horses and cattle the date of birth, must be given to the Secretary with entries. 4. No competitor will be allowed to exhibit more than one lot in produce class. 5. Btook that cannot be shown in a competing class can be exhibited as extra stock, and if deemed worthy of a prize by the Judges, one will be awarded. (i. In no ease shall a prize be adjudged unless ihe Judges shall deem the lot to possess sufficient merit, mure especially if only one lot is exhibited. 7. All exhibits for competition must be on the show ground as hereinafter stated. Sheep and pigs, before 8 a.m.; cattle, 0 a.m,; horses, dairy produce, poultry, implements, 10 a.m. of the show day. 8. All persons competing must pay their subscriptions and fees previous to the day of show. 9. The committee will not, under any circumstances, hold themselves responsible for loss, damage, or mis-delivery of stock, or implements, exhibited at the show. 10. Entries will be received by the undersigned, at Patta, not later than Thursday, the 7th of November, except dairy produce, which will be received up to the morning of the show clay. 11. All protests must be in writing, and left with the Secretary before 1 o'clock on the day
