A prize of £3 is offered for the horse which clears the highest bar. not less than 3ft Gin from the ground. Three-trials allowed for each rise of the. bar. The second horse to have his entrance money returned, each entry. Members, 10s; all others, 20s. There will be no match unless there are five or more entries, which can be made with the Secretary up to the time of the match. Special Prize.—£s for Best Draught Entire Horse bred in the Colony. Special Prize. — £3 awarded to the person taking greatest number of First Prizes for Cattle, Sheep, Horses, and Pigs. Special Prize.—£3 for best Colonial-bred Rain and Ewe. Rules and Regulations. 1. Members of the Association can exhibit on paying the following fees : —For horses—entires, 10s ; mares, colts, and geldings, ss. Cattle—bulls. 5s ; cows and heifers, 2s 6d. Single sheep, 2s Gd ; pen of three, ss. . Pigs, 2s Gd. Poultry and dairy produce, Is. Agricultural implements, 2s Gd. Non-members to pay double fees in every case. 2. All stock exhibited must be the ! bona fide’ property of the exhibitor or Ids principal. 3. The name, residence, and districts of the exhibitor and breeder, the breed of the animal he intends to exhibit, the pedigree of the stock as far as known ; of sheep, the time of shearing; young horses and cattle the date of birth, must he given to the Secretary with entries. 4. No competitor will be allowed to exhibit more than one lot in produce class. 5. Stock that cannot be shown in a competing class can be exhibited as extra stock, and if deemed worthy of a prize by the Judges, one will he awarded. G. In no case shall a prize be adjudged un-' less the Judges shall deem the lot to possess sufficient merit, mure especially if only one lot is exhibited. 7. All exhibits for competition must be on the show ground as hereinafter stated. Sheep and pigs, before 8 a.m.; cattle, 9 a.m.; horses, dairy produce, poultry, implements, 10 a.m. of the show day. 8. All persons competing must pay their subscriptions and fees previous to the day of show. 9. The committee will not, under any circumstances, hold themselves responsible for loss, damage, or mis-delivery of stock, or implements, exhibited at the Show. 10. Entries will be'3’eceived by the undersigned, at Patea, not later than Thursday, the 7th of November, except dairy .produce, which will be received up to the morning of the show day. 11. All protests must be in writing, and left with the Secretary before 4 o’clock on the day of the show. The decisiou of the Managing Committee to be final.
