HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. WELLINGTON. November 1
After the House resuming last night, Mr Stout announced that the conference on the Railway Construction Bill had come to no agreement, and another adjournment took place, the conference having agreed upon the other Bills.
The remainder of the evening was taken np with adjournments until nearly eleven o’clock, when Mr Stout announced that the managers had agreed upon a report. Mr Stout said the prorogation would not take place before Saturday, as there was still a good deal of business to transact. - The House adjourned at 11. \
The only business transacted in the House to-day was the acceptance of the proposal in the report brought up last night of the Conference on the Railway Construction Act, with tbe amendment as sent down by Message from the Governor and agreed to; and after it came back from the Council, the House adjourned till noon to-morrow. Only a few members remain to witness the prorogation.
