The outward mail steamer Zealandia went ashore off St George’s Bay in going out on her way’ to ’Frisco. The tide is rising, but she is not yet off. WELLINGTON. October 15.
The barque Felix Stowe jrrom Newcastle to Lyttelton with coal, was blown ashore On Sunday at the mouth of the Otaki river. Captain "Piggott and three sailors were drowned while trying to get ashore, the boat having capsized. The body of Gingham, an apprentice, was washed up this morning on the beach.
