To Travel tills Season, Between Hawera and Gaui.yi.e, The Favorite Draught Entire Horse, VICTORY. TjTCTORY is a Bright Bay, 7 years V olu, anti stands 1G hands 3 inches high. Has splendid hone, and a tine temper. He was bred by Mr Walls, of Canterbury, and took two first prizes as a two-year old at Blenheim. Victory is by Royal Conqueror, out of Mr Walls’ prize mare Blossom. Royal Conqueror took first prize at the United All-England and Highland Societies Agricultural Show at Battersea, when a two-year old, and was purchased by H. lied wood, Esq., for £7OO, and imported to New Zealand. Blossom (Victory’s dam) took several first prizes as best brood mare in Canterbury. Victory has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and his stock are so well known throughout the district, that any long comment would be superfluous; it need only be added that they will compare favorably with any horses on the coast, and as workers cannot be beaten. A three-year old filly, got by Victory, and exhibited by T. Mason, Esq., at the last Wellington Show, took first prize. Terms—Single mares, £3 10s; two or more, £3; groomago, ’2 s Gd. Bonrbnki is by Ravenswortb, out of Coquette, by Pacific out of Prancy, out of Bounce by Bugler. Bounce out of St. Hill’s blood mare by Figaro, out of Riddlosworth mare by Rubbing, out of Arab mare by Ricldleswortli, Raveusworth being so well known, it is useless to particularise his pedigree. Bourbaki will also visit (by appointment) any farmer or settler’s residence being within a radius of ten miles from homo.

ALBANS is 8 years old, by Malton (imported), out of Montrose, by Potentate ; g d Holly, by Sir Hercules; gg d Dora, the best in Sydney of her day on the turf. Malton’s pedigree is indisputable, and he is the sire of several first-class horses on the flat and over hurdles. St. Albans won the Maiden Steeplechase at Aramoho in 1876; won the Hurdle Pace at the Hutt last year, weight for ago, beating Tommy Dodd and a large field; won the Ladies’ Purse at Foxton, welterweight for age, beating Parawenui, &c. His performances over fences in Wanganui have stamped him the. best crosscountry horse in the Island, St- Albans is a beantiiul dark chestnut, stands 16 hands, and from his size and breeding is in every way suitable forgetting roadsters, hunters, or superiorhackneys.
