YOUNG SCOTCHMAN is a X beautiful dark bay on short legs, rising 3 years old, with plenty of bone and hair; stands 16|- hands high, and is by Scotchman (imported). Scotchman took two first prizes at Rhinds of Galloway Society Show, held at Stranraer ; and also took first prize at Kyneton, Victoria, every year as the purest Clydesdale stallion exhibited. Young Scotchman is out Jess by Lothian Tain (imported); grand dam Gipsy (imported), by Old Champion of Scotland. Young Scotchman took first prize at Kyneton, Victoria, as a 1-year old, a silver cup valued at £2O; also took first prize of £3O as a 2-year old at the same place. Young Scotchman will be at Waverley on Tuesdays ; at our Farm, Kakaramea, on Thursdays; and at Hawera on Saturdays. Terms—Single mares, £5 ; a reduction of 10s each will be made on three or more mares; guarantee, £7; groom’s fee, 2s 6d—to bo paid on first service. Good grass paddocks provided free.
