Gladiator is a golden chestnut, rising 7 years old, 15 hands 3 inches high, bred by Count Legrnnge, by that celebrated horse, Gladiatenr, out of Nuncia, by Nuncio, out of Fatina, by Ellis. Gladiatenr by Monarque, out of Miss Gladiator, by Gladiatenr, out of ■Taflrail, by Sheet Anchor. For further particulars vide English Stud Book. Gladiatenr was the winner of the Derby St. Legcr, 2000 guineas; and the Grand Prix, in 18C5. Terms— Single Mares, £7 7s; three or more, £6 10s; groomage, ss. Paddocking provided for four weeks free of charge, and afterwards 2s per •week will be charged. Every care taken, but no responsibility. One of the owners will be in Wanganui every alternate Thursday (on the • day of F. R. Jacksons sale), to receive ;and take up the country all mares. HAILSTORM is by Pacific, by Flat-catcher (winner of the 2,000 quincas stakes, and ran third for the Epsom Derby.) Hailstorm is a rich roan, 3 years old, stands 15 hands 2 inches, is out of Discretion by Towton, is full brother to Resolution and Queen of the Yale, and for symmetry and power cannot bo surpassed. Every care will be taken, but no responsibility incurred. The season will end the first week in December, when all foes must be paid and mares removed.
