The warship Cormorant has sailed from Spithead for Australia. A leader in the Times , referring to quarrels in Victorian Legislature, strongly objects to appeals to Downing Street, and recommends the settlement of disputed questions, by a joint vote of the two Houses. It remarks that the Council has hitherto exhibited a sure respect for the law, and a sounder constitutional spirit.
