. (To the Editor, of tie Pate A Mail.) Sin,—ln your issue 1 of .the 29th ultimo, appeared a letter refening to the death of William Hudson, irrwhich the writer misapplies names. He. makes use of my name as the companion of tlie deceased in his last intemperate outbreak. 1 wonder much at your publishing such a thoroughly mistaken document-r you having in the
previous issue of your paper, given a correct account of the evidence adduced at the inquest, in which I was stated" as having been the employer of the deceased. Expecting you will give full publicity to my letter.—l am, &c., ALFRED S. HOBBS. : Hawera, July Ist, 1878.
