Patea Mail Office, Tuesday Evening. Mr W. Dale reports having held a sale ®f the Patea Steam Threshing Company’s plant; also landed property, building timber, fruit trees, merchandise, See., on Saturday, June 29th, at Carlyle. The Threshing machine consisting of engine, combine, and elevator realised £635, Messrs Stevenson and Tait, of Hawera, being the purchasers. Section No. 11 block 43, Carlyle, quarter acre section with stable erected thereon, was sold for £O2. The cargo of timber, ex Argus, from Foxton. averaged 16s per 100 feet. Fruit and ornamental trees, merchandise, and sundries fetched faff prices. One acre in Township of Woodville was passed in at £ls; 4 suburban sections in the same Township, containing about four and a-half acres each was disposed of privately at £6 per acre, and one half-acre section at £6. KAKARAMEA FLOUR MILLS. Present prices at the Mills :—Flour, in sacks, £l4 per ton; in bags, £l4 10s; per sack, £1 10s; per 100 lbs, 16s; pollard, 6s per 100 lbs; bran, 4s per 90 lbs. EDWIN PAYNE.
