DEFERRED PAYMENT LAND, WAKAMARA BLOCK.

Nine sections in Block twclveWakamara, having been set aside for sale on deferred payments, applications for the same were received at the Local Land Office, Carlyle, on Wednesday, the sth June, Being more than one applicant for each section, except No 30, the land had to be put up at auction, on Wednesday last, Captain Wray acting as auctioneer. The following is list of purchasers and prices realized : F. J. and G. W, Gane, Manutahi, purchased sections 1, 2, and 3, the upset price of each being £4 10s per acre. Section 1, GO acres, realized £l3 2s 6d —total £787 10s ; section 2, G7 acres 8 roods 88 perches, realized £l3 7s 6d per acre—total £909 6s 8d ; section 3, 67 acres 2 roods 29 perches, realized £l4 2s 6d per acre—total £956. K. B. Pearce, Kakaramea, section 4, 86 acres 3 roods, upset price £4 10s. realized £l4 per acre—total £1,214 10s. A. F. Illston, Manutahi, section 22, 820 acres, upset price, £1 10s, realized £1 11s 6d—total £504. J. Gr. Holg'ersen, Havrera, section 28, 129 acres, upset price, £1 ]os, realized £1 11s 6d—total £203 3s 6d. John Armstrong, Kakaramea, section 28, 180 acres, upset price £2, realized £4 3s—total £747. T. Allan, Waverley, section 30, 178 acres, upset price £1 10s, realized £1 11s —total £275 18s. For section 31 only one application bad been put in, and was therefore purchased by W. Giles, Wavericy, 202 acres at the upset price of £1 10s per acre. Total amount £303.
