Wanganui, June 1. Mr G-. A. Hurley reports (wholesale) as follows :—Oats continue at last week’s quotations. Wheat growers are receiving from 4s Gd upwards for ordinary to good. For Adelaide seed 7s Gd is asked. Maize —the new season’s crop has just reached the market and is commanding outside prices—retailing at 5s Gd. Barley —none in market at present and very littlfWornand. Peas and beaus—small stocks, 5s 94 and 6s *Jd respectively for good. Canterbury samples of flour same as last quotations. Oatmeal stands linn at £22. Bran ;LG. Pollard, £7 10s.
