NOTICE is hereby given, that under the provisions of “ The Rating Act, 1876,” a MEETING of the above Board will be held on MONBAY, the 27th May, 1878, at 7 p.m., to make a Rate of 9d in the £ on the value of all rateable property within the Town of Carlyle, for the period commencing Ist April, 1878, and ending 31st March, 1879 ; and that the same shall bo due and payable in one instalment, at the office of the Board, on Monday, 15th July, 1878; and that the Rate Book is now open for inspection at the office of the Board, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between the hours of 10 a.in. and 4 p.m., until the 27th day of May, 1878.
