County Council Office, Carlyle, May 9, 1878. nEPARATE TENDERS will be 10 received at this office until 4 p.m. of Tuesday, the 4th day of June, 1878, for Grubbing, Clearing, and Forming 68 chains of Mountain Road—from end of Contract No. 3 (2 miles 12 chains from Normanby) to .80 chain peg, top of bill south -of Tawhiti Stream; and for Grubbing, Clearing, and Forming 80 chains from thence towards New Plymouth. Further Tenders. TENDERS will also be received for work commencing at end of above Contract, from thence 80 Chains Grabbing, Clearing, and Forming; from thence 82 Chains Grabbing, Clearing, and Forming towards New Plymouth and construction of Culverts on the several contracts. Plans and specifications may be seen at this office, Government Store (Ingle-, wood), and at Normanby, where all information may be obtained.
