April IG. t , At the Waste Lands Board meeting, a petition was received from Hawera, asking that bush land at Ketomarae should be sold, so as to supply sawn timber. —A surveyor was requested to survey block of land at Normanby?—A surveyor was also instructed to survey a block at Waingongoro for a native who requests to be allowed to purchase it.—On recommendation of Captain Wray, section 350 was withdrawn from sale.—ln reply to Captain Wray’s question, if two or more persons could select on deferred payments, the reply was “yes” to the extent Jo £ 320 acres. y .
