IT is hereby notified that the undermentioned ALLOTMENTS of LAND, situate in the Patea District, will be OPEN for SELECTION by application on DEFERRED PAYMENTS system, on Monday, the 6th day of May next ensuing, at the District Land Office, in Carlyle, at the upset price per acre set opposite each respective Allotment. NOTICE is hereby given that there will be offered for sale, at public auction, in the Council Hall (late Provincial Government Buildings), Wellington, on TUESDAY, the 28rd day of April, 1878, at 11 o’clock in the con SECTIONS of surveyed Crown Lands in me nun, Pahantanui, MaUawatn, Wanganui, Featherston, and Mauriceville Districts. Also, the Township of Carnarvon, Lower Ferry, Rangitikei, which has been subdivided into Town and Suburban Sections. Lithographed and other maps, also printed Schedules of contents and upset price, may be seen at the reading-rooms in the several centres of population; at the Survey Offices, Wanganui, Patea, and Palmerston ; also at' the Land Office, N ellington. Volunteer scrip can be exercised in the purchase of any land included in this sale. * In addition to tie price realised at auction, the Crown Grant fee of one pound and one farthing per acre for every acre over one hundred acres will have to be paid.
