Mr F. I!, Jaekhon’s rale of horses on Saturday last attracted a very Large attendance. Although many of the lots were passed in, a very fair number were sold. Among the horses that changed hands, wc noticed from Mr ,T. E. Stent’s stud—Legacy L4!i, Curiosity LTD, Confident LBB. On’ account of Mr J. Paterson—the champion draught mare Polly L7B, and bay liily Blossom LfiO. Brigham Young (thoroughbred) was sold for L7O, Gazelle for L 7-1. and the draught horse Black Piiucc for L4O. Dead Shot, .Monarch, and President were passed in.—Wanganui *• Herald.” • ■
