Russia has withdrawn the demand for a portion of the Turkish fleet, on the condition of the Porte engaging not to cede the same to England. The conclusion of the treaty of peace takes place to-morrow. February 25. Fresh peace conditions demanded by Russia includes prohibition of the passage of the Dardanelles by all war vessels, but fiee navigation to merchant ships ; an indemnity of fourteen hundred million roubles, to cover which Turkey requites to cede her ironclad squadron, the cities of Kars, Batoum, Bazizid, and Arclahan. Forty million sterling indemnity to be secured by bonds chargeable on the sinking fund, interest of which to be guaranteed by tributes now paid by Bulgaria and Egypt to the Porte.
