SPECIAL TELEGRAM.
NEW PLYMOUTH. January 29. Charles Irvine lias been appointed Engineer to the Harbour Board, and J. Sands, Clerk of Works. Public meeting last night decided in favor burrowing- £25,000 for water, gas, and town improvements. At the Waste Lands Board, a letter was read from Captain Wray, covering-schedule of unsold laud at Opaku-Otoia and Kakavamea. It was decided to ask Captain Wray to put a value on sections at K:\karainea.
