Takarei te Ran was buried to-day at Ilikurangi. Just previously, the youngest daughter of Tawhiao, who had been adopted by deceased, died suddenly without previous illness. Hundreds arc now at Bikurangi, and the iangi and feasting have to bo done over again. MASTERTON. January 25. Sir G. Grey and party arrived this afternoon, about 150 Europeans and considerable number of Maoris present. Address in English and Maori. Several deputations are to wait on the Premier during the afternoon.
