General Entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary P.D.J.C., at the Secretary’s office, Carlyle; entrance money enclosed, with the name, age, pedigree of the horse, as also name of owner and colors of the rider, by 8 p.m. on Friday, sth February, 1878. Handicappers will be chosen from the Stewards. THE PATEA DERBY (to be run at the Annual Meeting, 1879-80), of 100 so vs, added to a sweep of 5 sovs; nomination 2 sovs, to go to the fund.
