Patea District Jockey Club Handicap, of 100 sovs; nomination, 2 sovs; acceptance, 3 sovs; distance, 24 miles; top weight not to exceed 10 stone. Forced Handicap, for "Winners, of 20 sovs; entrance, 2 sovs; optional to losers at 1 sov; distance, 14 miles.
