[per arawata.] , MELBOURNE. - October 11. The revenue for the quarter ending Sept., was £1,098,204, showing a decrease of £19,982 on the corresponding period last year. , . Tenders for the balance of the .4 per cent, inscribed stock received only one tender, which was sent in for £97,000, at 92.10. The minimum was 97, and nothing was accepted. A section of the railway has been opened to Gripps Land. The Indian Famine Fund amounts to over £7,000. It is likely to be raised to £IO,OOO. The weather is very favorable, and crops are looking well.
