A CIVIL QUESTION.

(To the Editor of the Patea Mail.) SmWill Mr Milroy explain liis reasons for suggesting to the Government that three members only out of seven constituting the Harbor Board should be elective. Is it because, in his opinion, the equals of the Patea Town Board could not possibly be found in the whole County? Is the Chairman of this County such an all-important person that nothing can be done without him ? As these questions are addressed to only a member of the Board, and not to the Chairman, I hope they will be considered civil. If not, please-make them 'umlile. enough, in your opinion, by adding u footnote to that effect.—l am, &c., ANTI-NOMINEE.
