NOMINATIONS FOR COUNTY COUNCIL.
Thk Returning Officer appointed by the County Council (Mr John Black), was in attendance at Hawera on Thursday last, to receive nominations of candidates for that Riding of the County. The following were received : Mr Jas. Davidson, nominated by Messrs G. Bamford and S. Adamson. Mr Moore Hunter, nominated by Messrs 11. Wilson and John Winks. The election will take place on Saturday, the 25th August.
