CABLE MESSAGES.
[Per Press Agency.] o LONDON. July 22. The troopships Crocodile, Malabar, and Euphrates have received orders to be ready to proceed to sea on Wednesday. There has been a formidable railway strike in America. The military were called to action, and fired amongst the people, killing 10 and wounding 20. The Russians besieging Widdin having taken Rosanek, are now marching on Phillopolis. They were repulsed with heavy losses at Plovana A despatch from Muktpasha, at Kars, states, that on the 19th, the Russians were attacked on the right wing and defeated, with heavy loss, and compelled to fall back to Beliol. Midhat Pasha is now in Loudon, and will bo recalled.
The Herald's special despatch states, that, a panic took place at Adrianople, when it was known that the Russians had crossed the Balkans, without opposition.
The Bulgarians arc everywhere welcoming the Russians as deliverers. It is rumoured that the British Government intend despatching troops to Gallopoli.
