As per 100 lbs; gristing, in lots of not less than 20 bushels. Is per lm.-hcl. EDWIN BAYNE. July 27.. 1877. WOOL MARKET, Messrs Goldsbroiigh's Monthly circular, reports The quantity of wool offering at this season of 1 lie year is very limited, the total catalogued during the month being about 800 The prices obtained have been fully up to late rates, competition being brisk. Ihe Knglish advices are more encouraging, the London sales having closed on the 27th ult. at prices equal to those which were current at the termination of the March sales. The reduction established at the opening of the sates has thus been recovered ; and notwithstanding the war now going on, the trade appears* 3 to be in a healthy state, with a reasonable probability of present prices being sustained. It is estimated that the next scries of sales will include about HOO.OOO bales, which should be readily absorbed if manufacturers are moderately well employed.
