[Per Press Agency.] SING \ PORE. July 10. 4.3 G. The Russians have raised the siege of Kars, Muchktor Pasha and the Governor of Kars arc preparing to attack Mehitroff’s army. Russian reinforcements are proceeding by forced marches towards Armenia. Turkish frigates have'bombarded Sebastopol. Eighteen battalions of Russians have Crossed the Balkans, and arrived unopposed at Unisaphra. Russians have arrived at Rasgrad, and arc cutting’ the railway between Varna and Rusteliuk. SYDNEY. July 20. The Suez mail arrived at Adelaide at midnight, and brings London dates to June Bth. No New Zealand passengers. An engagement took place oif the Peruvian coast between the British warships Shah, and Amethyst, and the Iluisca, turret ram ; the latter escaped after dark, but so damaged as forced to surrender to the Peruvian squadron. Her crew had joined the revolutionary president and committed piratical acts on British subjects. A German surgeon from Ardahan reports, that, after capturing the fortress the Russians plundered every house, violated every woman, and set hie to the hospital, burning wounded soldiers alive.
