(To the Editor of the_ Patea Mail.) Sir, —Can you inform me when the above Board arc likely to publish a balance-sheet for last year. It is a document a number of persons would like to see.—l am. &c. RATEPAYER. [Note. —Balance-sheets of other Boards are being kept back as well as that of Carlyle. Probably the Boards heed not the law, and love darkness rather than light.— Ed. M.]
